Anyone else starting to notice your skin sagging?  Your joints aching? Your skin elasticity getting worse?

It’s because we are losing our collagen!

I am aging, and I’ve noticed these things happening to me. So I have spent some time in researching what is causing it, what I can do to help it, and what I can do to prevent it from getting worse!

Here’s what I have found.

What Is Collagen?

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body. According to Yale University, collagen refers to the family of proteins that are the primary structural components of connective tissues, such as skin and cartilage. Collagen makes up about one third of all the protein in the body. Essentially, it is the glue that holds it all together!

Collagen is the main component of fascia, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, bone and skin! Along with elastin and soft keratin, it is responsible for the skin strength and elasticity and its degradation leads to wrinkles and aging.

Why is it So Important and Where Do We Get It?

As you read above, collagen is in everything in our body! The body produces collagen naturally and it is in abundance when we are young, but unfortunately production starts to decline at about the age of 25. It decreases even more in women after menopause. So if we are losing production over time, it is a no brainer that we need to supplement and find a supplement that works!

Just by understanding what collagen is should give you an insight to why it is so important. Luckily, we have many options to supplement collagen. Some food sources are fish, chicken, egg whites, garlic and citrus fruits. But unfortunately, we do not get enough collagen from food alone and supplementing seems to be the best option to increase collagen in the body.

There are many forms of collagen supplements on the market. Many people choose to use the powder form and others prefer the liquid form. Studies show that your body only absorbs 30% of the powder form and liquid forms have a much higher absorption rate, 98% to be exact! So I have chosen the liquid form just so I can get more bang for my buck!

What Do I Recommend?

I want to share some good news with you today! I have found a collagen supplement called Liquid Biocell Skin that has worked beautifully for me! It not only has collagen, but contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulfate, ceramides and vitamin C! You literally get so much out of this supplement!

Liquid Biocell naturally mirrors human articular cartilage composition. It clinically demonstrated to improve joint mobility, promote healthy cartilage and connective tissue and support joint lubrication. As a physical therapist, this knowledge is very important to me and gives me assurance when recommending this product to my clients!

Liquid Biocell has also been shown in a study to increase the hyaluronic acid the body by 6000% after 28 days! Wow! Hydration to my face too?? Yes Please!

I would love for you to try it for yourself! If you are tired of sagging skin, aching joints, brittle hair and an overall dullness and dryness to your skin, then give this a go! Remember, with any supplement, you must give it time! Your body did not get this way overnight, and it will not recover overnight! Increase your collagen and hyaluronic acid with Liquid Biocell and feel the difference! We must replenish what is being lost and nourish from the inside!

Whatever collagen supplement you choose, start now! It’s never too late!
